UFX Studios is entering an exciting phase and we are gearing up for a series of ambitious new projects launching from January 2026 in our Walloon office in Genval (20 km from Brussels). We are looking for passionate talents to join us in shaping this next chapter of UFX Studios’ development.
As a 3D Generalist, you will be responsible for creating a wide range of 3D elements for film and
series projects. You will work across multiple stages of the pipeline including modeling, shading,
lighting, and more. You will collaborate closely with CG, FX, lighting, and compositing teams to
ensure a cohesive, high-quality visual result.
Key Missions
- Create and develop a broad range of 3D assets, including hard-surface and organic modeling,
texturing, shading, and look development. - Perform lighting and rendering for shots or sequences while respecting the artistic direction.
- Ensure consistent integration of 3D elements into complex environments, scenes, or shots.
- Collaborate with supervisors and CG/FX/Comp teams to maintain visual quality, meet
deadlines, and ensure pipeline technical consistency.
Profile
- 3 to 6 years of experience as a 3D Generalist or in a similar role within a VFX, animation, or
advertising studio. - Proficiency in one or more 3D software (Maya, Blender, Houdini, 3ds Max).
- Strong skills in modeling, texturing, shading, and lighting.
- Familiarity with major rendering engines (Arnold, Redshift, Karma, Cycles…).
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong multitasking skills.
- Good communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and autonomy in a fast-paced
production environment.
