VFX Coordinator

Location: Genval (20km from Brussels), Belgium
Contract: Freelance

UFX Studios is entering an exciting phase and we are gearing up for a series of ambitious new projects launching from January 2026 in our Walloon office in Genval (20 km from Brussels). We are looking for passionate talents to join us in shaping this next chapter of UFX Studios’ development.


Key Missions

Track and manage the progress of VFX shots, ensuring deadlines, priorities, and delivery
schedules are met.

  • Communicate daily with artists, supervisors, and production teams to relay feedback, clarify
    notes, and coordinate task assignments.
  • Maintain and update production tracking tools (ShotGrid or similar), ensuring accurate data
    on shot status, asset progress, and upcoming tasks.
  • Organize and lead production meetings, preparing agendas, notes, and follow-up action
    items.
  • Manage the flow of incoming and outgoing deliveries, including plates, references, versions,
    and final renders.
  • Ensure smooth communication between internal teams and external vendors, sharing
    information, briefs, and updated timelines.
  • Identify potential schedule or workflow risks and escalate issues to the VFX Producer or VFX
    Supervisor when needed.
  • Support the production team in overall organization, documentation, and coordination of the
    VFX pipeline.

Profile

  • 1 to 3+ years of experience in VFX production or post-production coordination.
  • Strong understanding of the VFX workflow and interdepartmental dependencies (CG, FX,
    lighting, comp) is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills: scheduling, tracking tasks, maintaining databases
  • Strong communication skills and ability to facilitate clear information flow between artists,
    supervisors, and production
  • Ability to anticipate scheduling issues, maintain priorities, and support the producer in
    resource planning.
  • Attention to detail, capacity to work in a fast-paced environment, and ability to manage
    multiple tasks at once.
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude with strong problem-solving skills
