UFX Studios is entering an exciting phase and we are gearing up for a series of ambitious new projects launching from January 2026 in our Walloon office in Genval (20 km from Brussels). We are looking for passionate talents to join us in shaping this next chapter of UFX Studios’ development.
Key Missions
- Set up the visual aspect of the project while respecting its specifications and clients’
requirements - Create a mood board and an artistic database in line with the project
- Help to estimate at best the creation of 2D and 3D assets in cooperation with the VFX
Producer, shot by shot - Define the different technical approaches to use in order to maximize the established
timeframes - Collaborate with leads and artists from all departments from 2D to CG and provide them
clear guidelines and goals. - Keep a technical and artistic track on the progress of each assets and sequences
- In close cooperation with the Head of Production, explain if needed your requests to the
R&D team to create new tools to implement in the pipeline - Watch the shots once they have passed the technical check before delivery, for which you
will be responsible once sent - Work closely with CG supervisors and Production to find creative and technical solutions
- Identify the necessary resources and respect the deadlines and budget allocated to the
project - Give your teams constructive feedback to get their tasks done as quickly as possible
- Conduct project evaluation and post-mortem reports at the end of each project
Profile
- 7 to 10+ years of experience in VFX, with a strong background as a senior or lead artist (CG,
FX, or Compositing). - Deep understanding of the entire VFX pipeline: modeling, texturing, lookdev, lighting, FX,
rendering, and compositing. - Strong artistic sense: composition, realism, storytelling, color, and visual continuity.
- Proven ability to lead teams, mentor artists, review work, and maintain a coherent visual
direction across the project. - Excellent communication with production, directors and clients.
- Ability to provide creative and technical solutions, foresee challenges, and ensure the
feasibility of complex VFX shots. - Experience supervising on-set (data acquisition, HDRI, camera tracking notes) is a strong
advantage. - Strong ability to keep projects on schedule while maintaining high production quality.
