VXF Compositor – Mid/Senior

UFX Studios is entering an exciting phase and we are gearing up for a series of ambitious new projects launching from January 2026 in our Walloon office in Genval (20 km from Brussels). We are looking for passionate talents to join us in shaping this next chapter of UFX Studios’ development.


As a VFX Compositor, you will be responsible for assembling, integrating, and finalizing visual effects
shots for films and series. You will work with rendered CG elements, live-action plates, FX passes, and
matte paintings to deliver seamless and visually polished shots. You will collaborate closely with CG,
FX, and lighting teams to ensure consistency, realism, and artistic quality across all assigned shots


Key Missions

  • Integrate CG elements, FX simulations, live-action footage, and matte paintings to produce
    cohesive and visually convincing final shots.
  • Perform color matching, roto/paint, keying, tracking, and clean-up to ensure seamless
    compositing.
  • Work closely with supervisors and CG/FX departments to understand shot requirements and
    ensure technical and artistic consistency.
  • Troubleshoot comp issues and design efficient workflows for complex shots.
  • Ensure the final quality of shots, respecting deadlines, feedback, and the established visual
    style of the project.

Profile

  • 3 to 6 years of experience as a Compositor in a VFX, animation, or post-production studio.
  • Strong proficiency in Nuke (advanced compositing, keying, roto/paint, integration, AOV
    management).
  • Good understanding of CG pipelines, including lighting, rendering passes (AOVs), and FX
    workflows is a plus
  • Good skills in color grading, photographic principles, and visual continuity.
  • Ability to analyze and solve technical or artistic issues efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills, ability to collaborate with CG/FX teams, and capacity to work
    independently in a fast-paced production environment
