Sauro Cantafame brings back to life the dead for a fee, scamming the social welfare system through a bizarre mechanical art. Across a southern borderland that smells of the Wild West, he travels in his Apecar with Giocondo, a fragile boy on the run. Between weird encounters and surreal landscapes, Sauro’s journey becomes a desperate mission to protect the boy from a local criminal deity and settle a painful debt with his own past.
